To play 3DS games online / Streetpass, the 3DS allows the user to accept an EULA. If it`s for titles in the region, it can be handled by the 3DS itself. However, if you want to use titles outside the region, you must use Homebrew to set the accepted EULA. This tool does none of that. It does one thing. If this is not the case, set your accepted SEA and do not accept it if it is. No complications, nothing. Just press A and it changes the EULA. Nintendo has made the switch environment much safer than previous consoles. Nevertheless, there are remarkable errors that lead to user exploits.

Of these, the NVIDIA Tegra-Stack (CVE-2018-6242) bug [5] is the most exploited. It uses the Switch Unit`s Recovery Mode (RCM) to push unsigned/unverified payloads[6], allowing the user to access arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability continued to be used by users of the switch hack scene to re-enter the firmware, which led to two other notable exploits: Nereba and Caffeine. While RCM is a hardware exploit, Nereba and Caffeine are software exploits and rely on the console on or below certain firmware versions to use the exploits. RCM, which has to do with hardware, is based solely on the fact that the console is vulnerable to this particular exploit and has no firmware requirements or autonomy.
